Synchronicity, Sceptics & Seat Number 11 – Not to mention frosty endings.
A week of uncanny coincidences, sceptical AI debates, resurrected yoga poses… and one devastating Bulgarian frost
A quiet moment, a cup of coffee, and a glance at the numbers…Welcome to Weekly Whispers — where life, laughter and a little numerology meet.Let’s see what the week has been whispering.
🌻 A Little Hello from Me
Well, what a week that was.
It began on Monday (6th) with me travelling across Bulgaria — east to west and back again — on a mission to collect my grandson from Sofia.
Now, the day itself carried 11/2 personal day energy for me, which my Life Path 11/2 absolutely adores.
And honestly, the synchronicities started piling up like biscuits at a British tea party.
Coach seats? 11 and 12.
Coach stand? 11/12.
Grandson’s plane seat? 11.
At this point my inner numerologist was practically doing cartwheels. Well - metaphorically speaking 😊
The only slight hiccup was discovering that the hotel recommended by a friend turned out to be in… shall we say… the ‘vibrant nightlife district’ of the city. Apparently the universe thought my spiritual awakening needed a little cabaret lighting.
Normally I’d have been shouting these number coincidences from the rooftops, but after my recent run-in with the rather serious debate about ‘proper numerology vs pop numerology’, I paused.
Instead of declaring planetary alignment to the world, I did what anyone would do in this circumstance…
I asked AI.
Not my trusty GPT (clearly a lapse in judgement on my part), but another AI who seemed rather determined to convince me that traditional numerology was the only respectable way to look at numbers — and that things like repeated seat numbers were likely just apophenia.
Now for anyone unfamiliar with that rather alarming word, it basically means ‘seeing meaningful patterns in random data’.
Hmm.
After a rather spirited back-and-forth between me and this dubious AI — involving definitions of synchronicity, coincidence, and a small philosophical detour via Pythagoras — the AI finally conceded that, in his day, Pythagoras himself would probably have been labelled a ‘pop numerologist.’
Which made me laugh out loud.
So where did I land? Exactly where I started.
Quite happily with one foot in each camp.
A traditional numerologist… who also enjoys a good-humoured wink when seat numbers start lining up like obedient little soldiers, and besides, it hasn’t stopped the request for readings so I’m taking that as a good sign.
📚 Midweek Musings – could it still only be Tuesday?
It was – Tuesday - and I treated myself to a new book — The Archangel Guide to Enlightenment.
I’ve only dipped into a few chapters so far, but it’s already giving my brain plenty to chew on.
Thursday brought personal day 4 energy, which usually means discipline, structure… and apparently courage.
My oracle card that morning?
Kali-Ma – ‘Face the Fear’.
Which felt dramatic until I realised the terrifying thing I’d actually done that day was restart my morning yoga practice.
Honestly, if you’ve ever attempted downward dog before coffee, you’ll know the card wasn’t wrong. LOL
💻 A Productive Friday… Followed by Tragedy
Friday arrived wrapped in personal day 9 energy, and I decided it was the perfect time to review my website.
And I have to say — I’m genuinely thrilled with the new '2026 Reset & New Beginnings' page.
The Life Path messages, the graphics, and the 'new calculator tool' have come together beautifully.
If you haven’t had a peek yet, you’re genuinely missing a treat.
By the end of the day, I was feeling rather pleased with myself.
Productive. Organised. Accomplished.
Which, as the universe likes to remind us, is often the exact moment it throws in a plot twist.
Overnight we had an unexpected frost… and all 15 of my lovingly nurtured butternut squash plants were taken out in one icy swoop.
Dead – Gone forever!
Honestly, I stood there in the garden looking like a bereaved farmer.
Numerology offers wisdom, spiritual insight and life guidance…
But it cannot, sadly, negotiate with a Bulgarian spring frost.
🧳 Saturday Scramble
Today has been personal day 1 energy for me (with a universal day 7 humming in the background), which meant fresh starts, practical prep and a fair bit of last-minute scrambling.
Travel snacks have been prepared — mango chicken and fruit salad — because frankly, travel stop prices these days require a small mortgage.
Tomorrow I’ll be embarking on a 5-hour coach journey before catching my flight to the UK.
And if that wasn’t enough entertainment, I’ve lined up a podcast for the journey with the always-interesting Steven Bartlett, whose guest claims AI is built on a myth and gas-lighted by tech companies.
Well… that should keep me entertained somewhere between Stara Zagora and Sofia.
☕ A Question For You
Before I go, I’m curious.
Where do you sit with this?
Do you think synchronicities — repeating numbers, strange coincidences, meaningful timing — are simply patterns our brains create?
Or do you feel, as many of us do, that sometimes the universe is quietly tapping us on the shoulder?
Reply and tell me — I’d genuinely love to hear your thoughts.
PS: I did ask my granddaughter Charlie for help with this week’s newsletter ideas, but she informed me she was in personal day 5 energy and her waffles had already reflected that level of chaos… so she thought it best not to contribute.
Wise girl. LOL
🔢 The Numbers for the Week Ahead
Let’s have a peek at what the numbers are cooking up for the week ahead.
Numerology Snapshot – 13–19 April
If last week was full of curious patterns and raised eyebrows, the numbers for the coming week feel like a gentle reset — a tidy little sequence stepping us through fresh beginnings and practical progress.
Monday – Universal Day 9
We begin the week by tying up loose ends. Think of this as the universe’s tidy-up day — finishing tasks, clearing clutter, and letting go of anything that has quietly outstayed its welcome. Emotional housekeeping counts too.
Tuesday – Universal Day 1
And just like that… the reset button is pressed. A wonderful day for fresh starts, brave ideas, or finally doing the thing you’ve been thinking about since January but politely ignoring.
Wednesday – Universal Day 2
The energy softens. Conversations, cooperation, and diplomacy take centre stage. It’s a good day to listen, share ideas, and remember that two heads often solve problems better than one.
Thursday – Universal Day 3
The creative spark arrives. Writing, chatting, laughing, storytelling — the day practically begs you to express yourself. If something playful or creative has been calling your name, this is your moment.
Friday – Universal Day 4
Time to bring a little structure to those bright ideas. The number 4 loves organisation, planning and steady progress. Not glamorous perhaps, but incredibly satisfying.
Saturday – Universal Day 5
Now the pace picks up. Five brings movement, freedom, curiosity and the occasional surprise. Perfect for travel, adventure, or simply doing something a little different from your usual routine.
Sunday – Universal Day 6
The week closes on a warm and nurturing note. Six energy invites us to reconnect with home, family, comfort and the people who matter most. A perfect day to slow down, recharge, and perhaps share a meal or a story.
All in all, it’s a lovely flowing sequence of energies — from completion to new beginnings, creativity, movement and finally connection.
Not bad for seven little numbers.
🌻 Final Thoughts Before I Pack My Travel Snacks
After a week of synchronistic seat numbers, philosophical debates with AI, resurrected yoga poses, and a rather tragic squash plant incident… I’ve been thinking about something.
Whether we call it coincidence, synchronicity, pattern recognition, or simply the human tendency to look for meaning, numbers have a curious way of making us pause and notice life a little more closely.
And perhaps that’s the real magic.
Not that numbers control our lives…but that they invite us to pay attention to them.
Sometimes they help us reflect.Sometimes they make us laugh. And occasionally they even start a debate with artificial intelligence.
So as the new week unfolds, keep your eyes open.
You never know when the universe — or simple chance — might decide to line a few numbers up just to make you smile.
Until next time,
Shaz xx
(Currently preparing for a 5-hour coach journey with mango chicken, fruit salad, and a podcast about whether AI is secretly built on myths… which should make for a very interesting trip.)
