Weekly Whispers – Week Beginning 31 August–6 September 2026

Taking Back Control, Trusting the Signs… and Dyeing the Toilet Seat

Sometimes growth looks like manifestation. Sometimes it looks like eating tripe soup. And occasionally, it looks like buying new clothes because Steve Jobs liked the number 28.

🌻 Here we are, and a little 'Hello' from Me.

So, What's been happening over the last seven days?

Monday was a Universal Day 6 as I recall, and that is about all I recall.

LOL.

I only wrote one thing in my journal:

‘I’m so bored with this diet, I could eat my own arm!’

Don't worry.

I didn't. 😂

It was simply an over-reaction to a dull day and a useful reminder that:

‘You don't have to change your entire life because it rained on Tuesday afternoon.’

Or eat your own arm because you forgot to prepare one meal.

LOL.

Sometimes a dull day is simply a dull day.

No deep spiritual meaning.

No karmic lesson.

No Ascended Master descending from the heavens to tell you why you fancied cheese on toast.

Just Monday.

Tuesday, however, was much more interesting.

Stand back.

I have an announcement.

I am taking back control of my life!

There.

Make a note.

It was a Tuesday.

A Universal Day-7 with a Personal Day-1 thrown into the mix.

Inspired by a chat with an amazingly supportive and knowledgeable friend, followed by a conversation with my granddaughter, I was ready.

The perfect combination, really.

A little reflection.

A few new ideas.

And suddenly, the embers of yesterday began flickering back to life.

I remembered the fire I'd stoked when I discovered my metabolic age.

And I decided:

‘Nope.’

I am not prepared to simply accept that.

So upwards and onwards it was.

Not in a ‘new me by next Thursday’ kind of way.

God forbid.😂

But with a quiet determination to take a little more responsibility for the things I can change.

Which, when you think about it, is probably where most real change begins.

Wednesday came, and I was surrounded by the energies of:

Can do.

Will do.

Let's blooming well get on with it. Nice.

This was my day for manifesting, clearing space and making things happen — with compassion, obviously.

By golly, I was ready.

Today's me had creative juices oozing from every pore.

LOL.

Not as messy as that sounds.

But super-duper effective and absolutely bursting with optimism.

As we headed out to a restaurant where friends were celebrating their wedding anniversary, I knew exactly what I would order.

Imagine, then, arriving to be told:

Lunchtime menu only.’

Fine, I thought.

And then:

‘Most of that has already run out.’

Less fine, for sure. 😂

Now, I don't know about you, but tripe soup is not something that has ever featured on my vision board.

YUK!

If I'm honest, it was a downhill trend from there.

My energy levels went from red-hot in the morning to an unmistakable ice-cool blue by the afternoon.

Proof, if ever we needed it, that manifestation, numerology and positive thinking can only take you so far when someone offers you tripe soup.

Thursday, I was surprised by my own energy levels this morning after finding myself wide awake at 3am.

Whatever had woken me had disappeared back into the vortex before I'd reached full consciousness.

I hate it when that happens, don't you?

You wake up convinced:

Ooh, something important is happening.’

Then five minutes later you're lying there thinking:

Well, that's irritating. Now I'm just awake.’😂

Anyway, this was a day of incredible excitement as the Summer Stamps were issued to our Passport Holders.

The Passport Lounge was abuzz again, and our travellers are now officially moving through their journey towards Autumn.

Whoop whoop!

Before we know it, we'll be motoring through Autumn and heading towards that all-important free seasonal reading at the end of the journey.

On a more personal level...

I dyed my hair….,

…and the bathroom mirror….,

…and the toilet seat. 😂😂😂

The result was a little darker than anticipated, but apparently it will fade.

In the meantime, I've switched glasses to accommodate the wrong-coloured hair.

Problem solved.

Sort of.

Friday, Aside from being a Universal Day-1, don't you think the numbers 28, 08 and 1 have an incredibly powerful feeling to them?

Or is it just me...

...and Steve Jobs!

There is something about a 28 that I rather like.

Steve Jobs certainly seemed to have an affinity with it.

His own birth date equalled 28, Apple's founding date equals 28, and apparently the number cropped up repeatedly around his work and designs.

Meaningful?

Coincidence?

Or just somebody somewhere getting a little numerically over-excited?😂

You decide.

Anyway, I felt a flurry of success simply thinking about the number 28 and Steve Jobs.

So naturally, I decided to be reckless.

And buy myself some new clothes.😂

Not exactly the technological revolution Steve had in mind, perhaps.

But every woman knows there are moments when a new pair of trousers is the closest thing you'll get to a spiritual awakening.

Saturday, felt somewhat personal to me.

LOL.

The 29th — my birthday number.

A Universal 2 energy.

And my Life Path?

2.

So, what did I do with all this glorious numerical alignment?

I shelved all work intentions.😂

And met friends in the morning...

…then more friends in the afternoon.

I was given a second card reading. I'd had one from another friend the day before, and can you believe it?

Different cards.

Different decks.

The same message.

The Universe had clearly caught up with me.

Later that evening, I scrolled social media and came across an American lady I follow who pulls a card and message for the collective every Sunday.

One of my favourite decks.

And...

THE SAME MESSAGE AGAIN!

Flipping heck.

At what point do you stop calling something a coincidence and start thinking:

‘OK, OK then. I hear you. You can stop shouting now.’ 😂

Sunday, was a funny old day.

Hints in the air of the gorgeous 3 energy, but somehow only enough to tease.

I want to grasp joy.

Laughter.

Fun.

Perhaps even a little silliness.

But it all feels just ever so slightly out of reach.

And yet...

That said...

I feel I have grown a lot this week.

Sometimes growth doesn't arrive with fireworks and a brass band.

Sometimes it's simply noticing that you are thinking differently.

Reacting differently.

Or finally admitting that something isn't working and deciding you're allowed to try another way.

I am incredibly grateful for the Passport Lounge, where conversations this week have naturally begun moving from Summer towards Autumn.

We've been talking about what we've achieved.

What we've learned.

What we've discovered about ourselves.

Our businesses.

Our bodies.

And how Autumn feels to each of us.

Which brings me to an interesting thought...

How much of our lives are actually spent changing seasons without even noticing?

One minute we're full of the joys of Spring.

By lunchtime something happens and we're staring out of the window like a grey November afternoon.

😂

Perhaps that's something I'll explore a little more.

Because I have a feeling there is rather a lot in it.

It has been some week!

📚 Midweek Musings

You would be absolutely right to think I'm becoming a little obsessed with food.

LOL.

Food.

Wellbeing.

Good health.

Numbers.

People.

Behaviour.

Patterns.

Energy.

And why human beings do the things we do.

Recent conversations have taken me off on all sorts of tangents.

For example:

Does a person's astrology map reflect their numerology map?

This came up in conversation with a friend this week, and honestly, I thought my Sagittarius aligned beautifully with my Life Path.

That was until we tried to match hers........,

hmmm?

I began wondering, are we actually moving through changing internal seasons all the time?

Could we wake up feeling like Summer and, by three o'clock in the afternoon, find ourselves somewhere between Winter and a small nervous breakdown?😂

And yet, the more I think about all these different systems, cycles and approaches, the more I keep coming back to the same thing.

Core attributes.

The same parts of us simply expressing themselves differently depending upon:

✨ Time✨ Circumstance✨ Our stage of life✨ Our body✨ Our emotional state✨ Our cycles✨ Our numbers✨ And the season we're currently travelling through

Nothing is ever quite as simple as ‘This is who I am.’

Because who we are is constantly interacting with what life is asking of us.

I’ll be delving a little deeper into this with my September ‘Within Without’ article.

Because, quite honestly, I have questions.

Lots of them.

And you all know what happens when I get questions.

I start writing on old shopping lists. 😂

🍽️ The End of the Week

The catch-up with my friend before she leaves permanently for England was absolutely wonderful.

A small group of us gathered.

Lovely company.

Lovely conversation.

Lovely food...

Until she spat the mackerel guts back onto her plate.

Apparently, the fish had been cooked with half its actual guts still inside.

Urgh!!!!

There are some things that friendship prepares you for,

But

Apparently, watching somebody discover unexpected fish innards at lunchtime is not one of them.

😂😂😂

☕ Two Questions For You…

As we move into Autumn, I've been thinking about timing.

And change.

And those things in our lives that we keep meaning to do.

You know the ones.

'That thing.'

So...

Q1. As we move into Autumn, how useful would it be to know the best possible time to do ‘that thing’ before Christmas?

Start something.

End something.

Launch something.

Change something.

Have a difficult conversation.

Make a decision.

Move house.

Start writing the book.

Finally sort out the cupboard you've been avoiding since 2018.

Whatever ‘that thing’ happens to be.

Q2. How beneficial would it be to start the ball rolling with a reading and then have follow-up appointments to work through it?

Because sometimes knowing your numbers is fascinating.

But working with them is where things can begin to shift.

If you've been struggling with something over Summer and it's still following you around like an unwanted handbag, perhaps Autumn is the time to take a closer look.

Your core numbers can help you understand:

✨ Why certain things feel harder for you than they appear to for someone else.

✨ Where your natural strengths lie.

✨ What you might be resisting.

✨ When particular energies could better support change.

✨ And, perhaps most importantly, how to stop fighting against your own nature.

If this sounds like something you might find useful, message me and let's have a chat.

No obligation.

No hard sell.

No man with a clipboard appearing at your door. 😂

Just a conversation about whether exploring your numbers could help you move forward with ‘that thing.’

You know which thing I mean.

😉

Shaz xx

🔢 The Numbers for the Week Ahead

Numerology Snapshot – 31 August–6 September

We're stepping into September with a rather interesting mixture of practical energy, communication, change and reflection.

In other words...

Probably best to keep your diary nearby. 😂

Monday – Universal Day 4

A practical start to the week.

Good for getting organised, tying up loose ends and doing the boring jobs you've been moving from one list to another for the past fortnight.

You know the ones.

Tuesday – Universal Day 11/2

Letter Writing Day.

How about that?

I may actually write a letter.

A proper one.

With a pen.

On paper.

Like an actual human being from the olden days.😂

The 11/2 energy also invites connection, sensitivity and meaningful conversation, so perhaps this is a lovely day to reach out to someone you've been thinking about.

Wednesday – Universal Day 3

The gorgeous 3 arrives.

Communication.

Creativity.

Conversation.

Laughter.

And hopefully a little more joy than my Sunday seemed prepared to hand over.😂

Write.

Create.

Meet a friend.

Say something.

Do something that reminds you life isn't supposed to be a never-ending to-do list.

Thursday – Universal Day 4

Back to practicalities.

Ground yourself.

Organise.

Finish something.

Try not to start seventeen new projects because you had one good idea over breakfast. Note to self LOL

That last bit might truly be aimed at myself.😂

Friday – Universal Day 5

Change.

Movement.

Freedom.

Something different.

If you've been feeling stuck, shake things up a little.

Nothing dramatic required.

Try a different route.

Eat somewhere different.

Say yes to something unexpected.

Or, if you're a Life Path 2 like me, perhaps say no to something without immediately writing an apology letter. 😂

Saturday – Universal Day 6

And it also happens to be International Day of Charity.

The 6 energy is naturally connected with care, responsibility and community.

So perhaps this is a lovely opportunity to ask:

What can I give? Perfect alignment for our ‘Autumn Giving Week’ over at the Passport Lounge.

Not necessarily money.

Time.

Attention.

Support.

A kind word.

A listening ear.

Or perhaps simply not judging someone else's choice of fish. No names😂

What will you be doing?

Let us know.

Sunday – Universal Day 7

National Read a Book Day.

Perfect.

A day for slowing down, reflecting and disappearing into somebody else's world for a few hours.

Let's make recommendations!

What is one great book you've read this year?

It doesn't have to be profound.

Or spiritual.

Or educational.

Sometimes the best book is simply the one you couldn't put down.

Quick Summary

A lovely week ahead, really.

We begin by getting organised.

Move into connection and creativity.

Have a little practical grounding.

Shake things up.

Give something back.

And finish the week with reflection and a good book.

Actually...

Perhaps I should combine Letter Writing Day with National Read a Book Day and put my energies towards finishing the last two books in my numerology series.

Now that would be an amazing way to end the year. LOL

You heard it here first.

Which means you are all now my witnesses.

Damn it. 😂

What's New This Week at Four Seasons?

🎁 Giving Week is Coming to the Passport Office!

Tomorrow, and throughout the first week of September, our Giving Week comes to life in the Passport Office.

And I am a little bit excited about this one.

If you're already travelling with us, keep your eyes peeled inside the Passport Lounge.

You will have already received an email around the time you received your Summer Stamps.

And if you're not yet travelling through the seasons with us...

Well...

Perhaps this is the perfect time to see what all the fuss is about.

🛂🌸🌻🍂❄️

The Four Seasons Passport is a year-long journey through Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter — exploring ourselves, our numbers, our changing seasons and the gloriously unfiltered reality of everyday life.

And, of course, collecting those all-important stamps along the way.

Because apparently, even at our age, we still get ridiculously excited about a stamp.😂
